Adopting Orphans

Since the inception of LORDS Help, a large number of Orphans have been adopted and they have been provided shelter along with education with quality food. We did this with an intention to make them grow into disciplined citizens and they prepare themselves to help the society when they grow up.

Sponsoring the Students

There are more number of dropouts in the schools and colleges in the rural areas mainly because of poverty and ultimately becoming child labors. To check this LORDS Help sponsored a large number of school and college students by paying their tuition fees and their boarding expenses. LORDS Help also provided education supplies like school bags, note books, pen, pencils and geometry boxes etc to the rural school children. LORDS Help also provided Uniforms and Uniform cloth to the poor and needy students of Government and Muncipal schools and colleges in and around Markapur town of Prakasam District. Selected Meritorious students were offered Dictionaries both English to English and English to Telugu to enhance their English standard and to empower their word power.

School Stationaries

Due to poverty, in the rural areas most of the students don’t wear shoes and cheppals in their regular life. As a result most of the students and women at large suffer from skin diseases. To check this situation LORDS Help supplied hygienic kits, shoes and cheppals to the poor and needy students and working ladies in and around Markapur town of Prakasam District.

Trainings & Machine Distribution

To empower women, LORDS Help provided training in both computers and in tailoring to poor & widowed women and also they were distributed Computers and sewing machines to support their families. Now they were able to provide good education to their children and prepared themselves to help the society. LORDS Help also supplied computers to chess players for practicing to keep themselves fit to compete the more competent player in chess.

Drinking Water Supply

It is very difficult to get drinking water in most of the schools and colleges in the rural areas. LORDS Help has been providing purified drinking water to the students in the schools. There are no toilets in most of the schools and colleges in rural areas. LORDS Help came forward and provided sanitation facility in the Government Girls High school which is very very essential to the students particularly girl students. All the government schools and colleges are running mid day meals program. To provide hygienic atmosphere lords help has been providing plates and glasses to schools.

Food Distribution

During heavy rains and floods in certain areas, LORDS Help conduct flood relief camps and distributes immediate needs like rice, cloths, vessels, blanket, etc., to the flood victims. LORDS Help also provided fishing nets to the fisher men who lost them during cyclones so that they can resume their life. LORDS Help frequently conducts health camps for students in the schools and for women in the villages. On the prescription of doctors the students and pregnant women were distributed medicines and nutrition food. LORDS Help also conducts eye camps and supplied optical to those prescribed. Due to rains and climatic changes a large number of people suffer from viral fevers like malaria, chicken guinea etc., LORDS Help has been providing preventive medicines in the schools and villages.

Clothes Distribution

LORDS Help distribution of sarees for the ladies and pant and shirt for the gents who are working in the Engineering College fourth class employees during the festival time. Blankets were distributed to the poor and road side people during the winter session by LORDS Help volunteers. And also distributed Blankets in the government school children through by LORDS Help volunteers.

Physically Challenged

Tricycles were provided to the poor physically challenged persons for their mobility. LORDS Help Provided tape recorders, cassettes to the blind students to continue their education. We conduct sports to the physically challenged people and also sponsored for the conferences of the Blinds Association
